Great location -- Walkable to most of downtown and the convention center (15 mins), and very close to the Expo line stop. Great value -- hotel was significantly lower cost than others in the vicinity, which were charging an arm and a leg because of a big surge in demand during the days I was there. It was also wonderful that this was a non-profit and they use the revenue to support women in the community. The staff were courteous. The hotel was very eco-friendly... so many things in hotels are made of plastics, and this hotel had found a more sustainable substitute for most of them. Unlike other hotels they actually let my hanging towel be, and didn't just take it away to wash.

Convenient location for someone arriving by long-distance train and unsure of exact timing. Quiet, if not exactly scenic (quiet meant overlooking the alley rather than the stadium). Entertained by watching sports fans flood in for major games—the energy under the dome was something. Not opulent, but the rooms are comfortable and the facilities are practical: Fridge and microwave in the room, shared kitchen on some of the floors, laundry facilities. Near restaurants of all kinds, within walking distance of grocery stores (IGA, Loblaws, Urban Fare). Close to the harbour for walks and harbour ferries. Have stayed here several times in the past 20 years, and should be back.

A fantastic place to stay in a terrific location within walking distance of all the sights. We arrived three hours ahead of check-in time but Luna, on reception, went out of her way to make us feel welcome. She kindly organised a room to be made ready for us and this was greatly appreciated. The room itself was spacious, spotlessly clean and modern and even had its own little terrace/garden with a view of the spectacular BC Stadium. There was a small, shared kitchenette on our floor, very handy for preparing quick snacks, but a large full kitchen/dining area on another level where proper meals could be prepared. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

Fantastic location, downtown Vancouver, near some major attractions, easy to walk from the Sky Train. Very neat and clean, good security for access to the building, and for controlling access to shared bathrooms. Good amenities - nice little coffee machine in the lobby, kitchens on multiple floors (although we didn't cook here), and great to still have a sink in your room so you can wash hands/face/brush teeth without needing to use the shared bathroom. Staff were great, very helpful and friendly. Can't beat the value for money, especially for downtown Vancouver! Also really like that by staying at the YWCA we're contributing to community causes.

It is very clean, no frills, quiet hotel located in a great location. Very close to the hockey areana. The cost is not outrageously expensive compared to the majority of dntn. Vancouver, BC hotels seem to be. A convenient and safe location in dntn. Vancouver. Great for a pre-night stay before caughting a cruise ship the following morning. Arrived in Vancouver, BC by train and from the train station to this hotel is a distance walking. I suggest caughting an Uber or cab to this hotel as well as from this hotel to the cruise line terminal located on the dntn. waterfront. Neither are far, so the cost is minimal.
